At Sentinel Medical Associates, our team is committed to creating a welcoming, respectful, and supportive environment where every patient is treated with the dignity and compassion they deserve. We understand that seeking treatment for substance use disorder is an important step, and our experienced staff is dedicated to making the process as comfortable and efficient as possible. Our practice includes a Substance Abuse Navigator who helps patients access resources, coordinate care, and overcome barriers to recovery. We value your time by maintaining appointment wait times of less than 15 minutes whenever possible, allowing you to receive timely, high-quality care. To ensure treatment remains accessible, we proudly accept most major insurance plans, including Medicaid, so more individuals throughout South Jersey can receive the care and support they need on their journey to recovery.
At Sentinel Medical Associates, we provide individualized, evidence-based medication management as part of a comprehensive approach to treating substance use disorders. Based on each patient's clinical needs and treatment goals, we prescribe a range of FDA-approved and clinically appropriate medications, including Sublocade®, Brixadi®, Suboxone®, Zubsolv®, buprenorphine (Subutex®), Vivitrol®, acamprosate, Librium®, and their generic equivalents when appropriate. Our providers work closely with each patient to determine the safest and most effective treatment plan while monitoring progress throughout recovery. As part of our commitment to personalized care, we also offer New Jersey medical cannabis certifications for eligible patients when, in the provider's clinical judgment, medical cannabis may serve as an appropriate adjunct to an overall treatment plan. All treatment decisions are made on an individual basis, with a focus on supporting each patient's recovery goals and overall health.

At Sentinel Medical Associates, we are committed to providing accessible support for our patients throughout their recovery journey. During normal business hours, our team is available by telephone and text message from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. to answer questions, address concerns, coordinate care, and assist with treatment needs. After normal business hours, established patients may contact our on-call provider by telephone for urgent or emergency medical concerns related to their treatment. While every effort is made to respond promptly, patients experiencing a life-threatening emergency should call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department immediately. Our goal is to ensure that patients have reliable access to guidance and support when they need it most.
